About CSSI

What does CSSI do?

CSSI provides CPM project scheduling, project claims analysis, and on-site project management services.


What benefits would a client realize by using CSSI’s services?

A client would have the benefit of an accurate, expandable project CPM schedule, prepared by an expert third party. This schedule would be evaluated/progressed on a regular basis, allowing the client to react to any project problems while they are still correctable. In the case of claims/change order analysis, the client would receive an objective, and detailed analysis of the actual impacts of the claim/change situations. CSSI would also assist the client in developing a valid, supportable claim based on the analysis. CSSI can also provide on-site representation or project management services for a client utilizing experienced CM personnel.

By using CSSI personnel as an extension of their existing project controls/management staff, a client can handle extraordinarily heavy short-term workloads, or unusual projects without having to expand their permanent staff levels. This use of CSSI on a temporary or occasional basis is very cost efficient for the client, because the experienced (42 years of combined construction experience) CSSI personnel can complete their assignments in less time, and produce a higher quality product, than would a less experienced in-house staff member.


What are the costs to the Client for CSSI’s services?

CSSI staff time can be billed on an hourly, daily or weekly basis, and all project related travel expenses are billed at cost. These rates are extremely competitive, and are somewhat flexible depending on the extent of the services provided.

President - Provide construction scheduling, project management, and  construction claims support services to owners, engineers, and contractors.  CSSI has provided these sevices on projects ranging in size from $500,000 to $200,000,000, and has been involved in construction claims/litigation issues up to $8,000,000.

President/Chief Operations Officer - Directed the daily operations of a 50 to 60 person process design/engineering firm.

Scheduling Manager - Developed CPM Schedules for all company projects averaging a total of $45,000,000 per year.  Developed and implemented    standard field project controls procedures.
These projects included water & wastewater treatment plants, power plants, and industrial facilities nationwide.

  • Co-Designed and developed a new concept in pulse oximetery sensors which are inexpensive to manufacture, comfortable for the patient and longer lasting than present disposable sensors. A Patent # 8,326,392 has been issued

  • Conducted product testing comparing Nonin sensors to competition.

  • Revised sterilization process of Bio-Materials to reduce throughput time from 8 weeks to 1 week with a cost reduction of $1 million annually.

  • Successfully designed a self contained retractor system for small incision surgical access for which patent number 5,688,223 was issued.

  • Developed and documented all part and assemblies along with new manufacturing procedures and processes.
